On May 27th, 2021 the Massachusetts Senate passed amendment #822 allocating a quarter million dollars to Midas to reestablish matched-savings accounts in MA, which are key to social mobility & reducing wealth gaps. We are excited to receive this funding that will allow us to serve more individuals and families as well as improve our overall operations. Thank you to Senator Jamie Eldridge and the other co-sponsors for believing in the power of Matched Savings and supporting this Amendment! View the official press release here.
